For Performers

Art 322a – Where have you hidden the sub! That can't all be coming out of a 12” speaker!

Get ready to hear that line from all your muso mates. The 400W 322a system is the best powered speaker package on the market by a mile. Apart from excellent bass response, the neodymium 2” horn gives this system a really clear and defined top end that throw to the back of the room without that harsh edge most of these little box systems are inclined to do - especially when pushed hard.

Being a 12” bass driver, the vocal mid-range is also very good and the digital processing optimises the sound with a transparent limiter protecting the system.

For the money (and it is more expensive than your general run of the mill powered system), one 322a will outperform any two of any other 12” or 15” powered systems.

When pushed hard as a fold-back wedge, the Art 322a won't lose definition or need loads of EQ.

The Art 322a is also light to carry for its power and output, and , for the lazy,, it comes with an optional infrared remote control.

Apart from being a real pro-level front of house speaker, the Art 322a is excellent for use as:

  • Electric bass monitor
  • Acoustic bass amplifier
  • Acoustic guitar monitor for a big stage
  • A full range keyboard monitor
  • A drum fill monitor for acoustic or electric drums

For DJ's

Art 322a – Turn it on and stand back!

If you drive to your mobile gigs in a sports car and you don't have room for a sub-bass, this is the speaker for you!

With or without extra bass boxes, this system is an excellent full-range package. Apart from excellent bass response, the neodymium 2” horn gives this system a really clear and defined top end that throw to the back of the room without that harsh edge most of these little box systems are inclined to do - especially when pushed hard.

When it comes to output and sonic fidelity, one 322a will outperform any two of any other 12” or 15” powered systems. Being a 12” bass driver, the vocal mid-range is also very good and the digital processing optimises the sound with a transparent limiter protecting the system.

Apart from being a real pro-level front of house speaker, the Art 322a is excellent for use as:

  • Insanely loud and Hi-fi DJ desk monitor
  • Distributed PA system in a multi room venue
  • Super gig realistic mix monitors (for the chronically deaf).
  • Top high end satellite box when used with an 18” sub as part of a multi-way system for a larger venue.

For Sound Engineers

Art 322a – The Swiss-Army-Leatherman-Multigrips of the rental business.

This speaker system is the foundation of many audio rental departments. The 400W 322a system is the best powered speaker package on the market by a mile. Apart from excellent bass response, the neodymium 2” horn gives this system a really clear and defined top end that throws to the back of the room without that harsh edge most of these little box systems are inclined to do - especially when pushed hard.

Being a 12” bass driver, the vocal mid-range is very good and the digital processing optimises the sound with a transparent limiter protecting the system.

Like most of the Art range, it can be controlled by an optional infrared remote control, which can cycle through 3 preset EQ settings and mute and control output volume as well as recalling the last setting used when switched on.

For it's size, weight and expense, one 322a will outperform two of any other 12” or 15” plastic powered system by any measurement of sonic fidelity or SPL.

Apart from being a real pro-level front of house speaker, the Art 322a is excellent for use as:

  • High SPL full range fold-back wedge or side fill
  • Drum fill or electric drum monitor
  • Electric bass monitor
  • Acoustic bass amplifier
  • Acoustic guitar monitor for a big stage
  • A high SPL full range keyboard monitor
  • A delay speaker

* A note on claimed Vs actual power figures quoted by speaker manufacturers. RMS measurements are the official standard used in measuring Pro-audio power. 100 watts RMS is equal to 200 Watts “music” power and 400 watts peak power. When music companies quote power figures on their speakers they often quote music power to make their products look better – i.e. a 450-watt music power speaker is only really a 225 watt RMS speaker. RCF only quotes power figures in accordance with pro-audio IEC standards.
